This is a very high end restaurant with high ambitions, great service, low level noise (which is a welcome rarity in Jerusalem), but prices to match. This is a very high end restaurant with high ambitions, great service, low level noise (which is a welcome rarity in Jerusalem), but prices to match. Just as one example, the corkage fee if you bring a bottle of wine from home to avoid the outrageous markup at restaurants is 60NIS here, vs. 30-40 NIS at other equivalent places. Is it worth the money? Is the cooking that good and that different? We were not sure. This ambivalence is reflected in the review and in the rating.

The surrounding is beautiful and the service good. We ordered a drink off the menu and received a twenty bill for the drink. The owners response was do you think the extra money is going to make me rich? Not interested in hearing the perspective of the customer. There are three of other restaurants in this square all packed. I would certainly pick those before I go back there.
