We enjoyed our meal very much. The steak was probably the best I every had. Not cheap but very good food.

The surrounding is beautiful and the service good. We ordered a drink off the menu and received a twenty bill for the drink. The owners response was do you think the extra money is going to make me rich? Not interested in hearing the perspective of the customer. There are three of other restaurants in this square all packed. I would certainly pick those before I go back there.

This restaurant is a wonderful treat, in the lovely Music Square area, with outdoor seating option of hearing music school on-stage nightly performers. The service is excellent. Meal begins with complimentary focaccia and spreads, followed by skewers of delicious salmon. Two of us got the excellent lamb chops, which were best ever tasted here in Jerusalem. Two others got the entrecôte and the Argentine filets. They were as delicious, lean, and tender as possible, cooked as ordered to perfection! The only complaint was that the portions were more than we could eat - very generous. The one disappointing menu item was the marrow bones - hardly any marrow and with a too-strong sauce. I would suggest to skip that item and you're going to be happy with your meal at this very upscale restaurant.

My wife and I live in Jerusalem and we decided to have an early dinner/late lunch. We split the business lunch and ordered the liver pate appetizer, the 6 hour asado and french fries as a side dish. The restaurant is beautifully decorated but we chose to eat out in the outdoor multi umbrella covered and aptly named Music Square. There was taped music playing in the square but towards the end of the meal a piano was pulled out onto the stage in the middle of the square and we were serenaded by a pianist. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The service was great starting with the manager of the restaurant who took our order and continuing to the very end of our meal with great service by all the very attentive waiters. We discussed that this restaurant would be a great place to take friends visiting from abroad. I'm looking forward to going back to this restaurant to try out their other dishes.

We visited Kinor Bakikar, after our tour of the Hebrew Music Museum right around the corner. This was a perfect choice among a number of restaurants in the area. We took advantage of the business lunch--main course, beverage, and dessert or appetizer all for NIS 110. A few of the main courses required an additional fee, like the entrecote which I ordered. It was a huge serving, cooked to perfection, with delicious crispy fries. I had started with the pate for an appetizer, and it was rich and delicious. My husband started with the outstanding duck breast salad, followed by the chicken steak and fries--again a huge portion--yummy and cooked perfectly. The service was quite good, and we appreciated the cleanliness and the linen tablecloth. We will most definitely be back.
