We remembered this place being very good and we were not disappointed. I don't know if there's a shortage of help but the service wasn't great. However, everything we ordered was done nicely, even if we did have to ask for knives, forks and napkins. For starters my wife had carpaccio and I had sweetbreads. Both were truly excellent both in presentation and taste. For mains we both had aged sirloin medium rare. Both were cooked perfectly and the presentation was excellent. The staff were friendly and pleasant but having to ask for knives and forks is a bit sad. It is unfortunate that the service does not reflect the excellent dishes but I'd still recommend this resturant and we will return.

I was here a few months ago and had a terrible experience as did the other diners, I was sent a voucher and asked to give them another chance. It was as bad if not worse. there appeared to be only one waitress who was taking care of the whole place, a large party and maybe 10 other tables. We ordered a meat dish which we asked to be cooked medium. The dish came out about 10 minutes later more rare than medium, my husband was OK with that, I wasn't. I ate a bit then got up to look for a staff person, the manager took it to the kitchen and brought it out a few minutes later... it was better but still closer to rare in the middle. The waitress was too busy to even know this was happening. Later, when we paid, we gave oru voucher together with our credit card to the manager yet he charged us the full price. He had to void the charge and do it again...avoid this place at all costs...its overpriced as well.. we were given a free dessert but it did not nearly compensate for the awful service for a 300 shekel plus meal...

This meal was THE WORSE food we have ever experienced in any restaurant, in any town, in any country in the entire world!!! It was greasy, limp, slimy & all together revolting!!! The staff - indescribably inadequate. The manager, whilst ranting & raging at us (!!!???!!!) said "that although he was the Chef, it was the women's fault in the kitchen who did the cooking & made it all so badly!". La Parilla, a mixed grill dish for 2 people, included as many soggy, oily, over-cooked potatoes as the poorly cut & badly cooked meat - more boiled than grilled. How can anyone even do that? The tiny bowl (for two people) of old limp lettuce with holes should have binned rather than served to us! Then, upon bringing this to the manager's attention as well, sent us a larger replacement salad that wasn't as old & which had a few more ingredients in it. Still limp though. Why & how? Oh, he said "because of Schmittah!!!" After immediately complaining & returning the dish T H R E E times to be re-grilled & heated up (as it came to us tepid & too raw), we ate a bit of it as we had been hungry after touring all day; but could not finish more than half of it. It was a very unpleasant combo of a mush of mixed fats from all types of meat on an un-cleaned grill, fatty & appeared like a burnt boiled-like-mush! Oh & the wine was bad too; which although the manager agreed was off; he still put it on the bill & insisted that we paid for it!! There was no Shomer anywhere to be seen either & for a Mehadrin restaurant that struck us as very peculiar. Oh, & the ladies toilet was filthy & did NOT even have a working light bulb, which the manager knew about!!! Need I go on? DO NOT GO THERE & ruin your evening!!!!

One of the best lunches I had in Israel this time. We took a set of several starters, starting from kebab and chorizo sausages with mashed potatoes, goose liver a la plancha and served on freshly delicately toasted bread with green apple slice, mashed zucchinis, several salads with tasty sauces and cheese and continued with tender grilled entrecôtes, fried potatoes with paprika, tender chicken fillet with sweet coconut sauce ... everything was just excellent and the service perfect. We finished the meal with some ice cream and sweets, together with cappuccino. The selection of wine is perfect and we could find a nice wine from Golan Heights for around 300 ISL.
