Went to Landwer Cafe in Cinema City, Jerusalem last week. There were four of us. Our son and I ordered pizza. The pizza barely had any sauce and very little cheese. I paid extra for onions and there were barely enough onions with half the pizza having no onions. In short, it was one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. Tasted like cardboard. Next time we will go to "Gregg cafe" in the same location which has a good pizza with generous amounts of sauce, cheese and onions. The only good news was that the other two people at our table ordered a kisch and pasta that were tasty. Word of caution....don't order the pizza.

We were a group of 10 including two little kids and we ended up in their glass enclosed extra room all by ourselves. The food was very good and the service too. We really enjoyed ourselves and, although I had printed out a 10% discount coupon, forgot to use it!

Good food, bad service

Friends and I went here for dinner last night, a first visit for all of us. We all enjoyed what we ordered, but the service was terrible. It was a scorching hot day outside; water should have been brought to the table as soon as we sat down. Instead, we had to ask for it when we placed our dinner orders. After waiting about 10 minutes, we asked a second time and finally received the water - without the ice we had requested. When our food came, one friend asked for coffee. Again, after about 10 minutes, she had to ask a second time before receiving it. None of the servers ever came back to ask if everything was ok, or if we wanted anything else - dessert, coffee, etc. We eventually had to flag one down to get our bill and pay. The staff wasn't 'unfriendly', but they all seemed distracted, like they were busy doing something else and taking our orders or bringing our food was an afterthought. Bottom line: The food was good, though not outstanding. The service was typical for Israel - like they don't realize the importance of customers and that it's to their benefit to put in a little effort and do a good job.
