Family dinner on vacation. Kids love Italian. Restaurant is beautiful and has excellent service. We had tuna, spicy tuna, tomato salad and a feta s salad. For desert muss. All dishes were beautiful and tasty. Espresso is excellent

Number one Luciana IS NOT an "Italian Restaurant". Rather it is an ULTRA ULTRA Orthodox initiation of what the ignoramuses who own it think Italian food is. Service by female staff members is usually pretty decent, but if you are unfortunate enough to get one of their male waiters, run run run. Food is not Italian by any stretch of the imagination. Their pseudo-Pizza Napalatano is edible and not totally disgusting, but La Piedra is right up the hill from here and is both ULTRA kosher as well, while being arguably the best pizza in Jerusalem. The salads range from bland to grotesque. Their Cesar Salad is just a bowl of fourth rate Romain lettuce, the dressing (the main event in a CESAR SALAD ) is not actually CESAR dressing, but some sort of Ultra kosher mishmash. No anchovi paste in the dressing and is mandatory on a CESAR salad. No options of bacon, or grilled chicken additions because this is a Ultra Kosher pseudo restaurant. The so called Italian dishes are so mediocre to terrible, that you'd be better served cracking open a can of Chef Boyardi. I would give these competent idiots a zero star rating if 0 was a possibility. They add fees and charges to the bill, and their rude male wait staff always tries to upsell unwanted garbage. If you have taste in food steer clear of this place. The only thing this place has going for it is the view.
