We came for lunch with great expectations to have a good meal, having read so many good reviews. We had only pastas and salads. Sorry, their taste was dull. Moreover, we had to ask for everything, Parmesan cheese, bread, water. No one asked us how the food is. The general feeling was very sour both, for the service and food.

Went for evening meal - place was great atmosphere and very busy but got seated immediately. Great menu choices, service quick and efficient. Had a couple of pasta dishes - excellent food with very good sauces. Local beer also very nice.

Previously, I heard very good things about the restaurant, but yesterday I had a very disapointing experience at Luciana. Our main courses didn’t came together (my sister’s one took about 5 minutes more than the others), and mine wasn’t tasty at all, with a lot of different seasoning but without a good taste. To end the experience, the waiter brought the check with a line of service included as an item of the check (written in hebrew, which took me a lot of time to understand). We then asked the waiter if that was suggested, and he said it was mandatory. We found this very disapointing, because we knew that in Israel restaurants don’t bring the service included in the checks. To make it even worse, the service was about 15% of the value, which was quite a lot. Not coming back very soon to Luciana...
