When visiting the market Machne Yehuda during the day time, you will be able to buy anything from bagels to fresh vegetables in ludington spices and cheap shoes. It is crowded, colorful and smelly just as a market should be. Take the time to visit the market during the night and you will have a different scene altogether. Young crowd from the universities and just people who enjoy the vibe. It is a fun place to go to. Eat, drink , talk.

For years this restaurant consistently produced excellent dishes, a fun atmosphere, and some great chefs. Covid-19 couldn’t change all that. We had shared some great dishes such as the famous Polenta, excellent Calamari, but were disappointed with the meat skewer. It is served to table too hot to handle, even the waitress couldn’t handle it and left us to try in a few minutes. We were told in advance that the skewer will feature Entrecôte beef instead of fillet. But the beef was not top quality and it was still priced the same 136 ILS (expensive for one skewer).

Very noisy restaurant, old tables and chairs, I was there with friends from the US and honestly felt embarrassed. food was good, but really not fair price, over expensive for what you get.
