We've been here a few times, most recently with cousins. The food is excellent, the portions are respectable, the decor and atmosphere nice, and the prices not outrageous. Highly recommended.

When a Modern Bistro Restaurant Meets the Classic Mediterranean Cuisine
The story of the Medita restaurant begins at the cooperation between the Chef Moti Ochana and Moshe Cohen (also the owners of the beloved Hachatzer restaurant). Ochana who graduated the culinary institution of ‘Le Cordon Bleu’ is an expert in combining the qualities of the French culinary with the Israeli colorful Mediterranean scene.
The restaurant is designed with decorative and luxurious elements alongside classical Mediterranean features, such as the Taboon oven and the open kitchen. The restaurant is blending perfectly in the urban scene of Jerusalem. The Medita was designed by Gilaad Zaafrani – one of Israel’s most talented architecture & interior restaurant designers. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will feel his warm and elegant composition.
What’s on the Menu?
The Medita menu offers a rich variety of meat dishes such as the minute steak focaccia, seared tuna with green salad and soy caviar, whole sea bream served with arak liquor and dill, 250 gram hamburger served with fries and vegetables, and an especially recommended tasting menu.
After sunset, the Medita restaurant transforms into a bar and opens its doors for those of you who are looking to spend a nice night out. The restaurant offers an impressive alcohol menu with quality beverages from all around the world.

MoreWe were in the mood for good meat. I'd known about Medita, and eaten there years ago, but after seeing recent reviews I wanted to try it again. We were happy that they accommodated us even without a reservation, although I would highly recommend you get one - the place filled up. We wanted meat, and they helped us out by cutting a reasonably sized prime rib to share for two (about 600 grams). It was done to perfection (medium), and really yummy. The salad too was seasoned well and delicious. Our wine choice (Yatir by the glass) was fantastic. I didn't touch the carbs, but they did provide bread, and then potatoes and other veggies, which accompanied the meat, along with a fresh arugula salad. nI can't comment about the other dishes, which looked enticing. The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. They seemed well-trained and moved very fluidly and amicably among the clientele. We passed on the desserts, but had a really great meal. Great experience overall. nMy only constructive comment is that the board on which they served the meat was too big for our table, and that was a little awkward. It didn't detract from the experience, but wasn't a good fit for our smaller table for two.
LessMy wife and I went there last night for a belated birthday celebration for me. The service was great, Jug of water put on the table within moments of sitting down and replaced without asking when empty, the food excellent . Might be a little hard to find if you don't know it but...

Might be a little hard to find if you don't know it but well worth persevering. My usual bug with most restaurants is that they take ages to bring the bill - not here and the card machine also came very quickly.
