Very disappointing, amateurish

We have been several times to menza and after initially been very impressed, it has been going downhill. Perhaps a victim of its initial success. We arrived on a Saturday lunchtime and although tables were available, it took them 15 minutes to seat us. It then took them 50 minutes after ordering to bring us our food. You would have thought they would have brought us a complimentary dish to keep us going, but nothing. The food was mixed - while fish and salad nicoise were both very good, the Milanese schnitzel and chips were disappointing. And what's with serving beer only in a 300 ml glass and charging 25 nis for it? And the final insult - they couldn't bring us an ice coffee because wait for it, no ice. You're kidding me!

Got a very greasy overcooked burger here. Sat outside and froze as there were no seats inside and no heaters or blankets outside. Food took forever and the staff did not seem interested in our comfort or concerned about quality of meal they were serving us. In fact while we were waiting, they took cigarette breaks standing next to our table so we were breathing in smoke the whole time we waited. Worse still, my kids got super sick (ie throwing up for two days) after eating here. Would not go back.

Was told how good this restaurant is. Waiter was very nice. Service was rather slow. Took forever to get the one Martini that was ordered. Food was mediocre in my opinion. I ordered risotto. Dry. Small portions. There are other restaurants just like it in Jerusalem. They are all the same, in my opinion.

Nice dinner place.

Not to expensive. Nice and very helpfull personnel. Not to big variety of dishes, good wines. Recommendable.
