This little oasis of calm in the Shuk is the place to go for grilled fish. There are several varieties available. I chose sea bream, because it’s tasty and easy to bone. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. You won’t find it any better at the more upscale places. For 80 shekels (about 20 euros) you get a whole meal: a selection of mezze (ours included pickled carrots, turnips, beets, and cabbage, tomato/pepper salad, tabouleh, tahini, and a basket of fresh baked breads. I also had a local craft beer, the name of which eludes me, which was first class.

Fabulous fresh fish with grilled vegetables and salads. Loved the grilled European sea bass. Located inside the market, don’t miss it there is a fish and ships place just across it’s not related.
