    Great Breakfast

This is one of the really good breakfast places. I had a skillet that was amazing. Can't recall the exact name but you'll figure it out. And as long as you're here---near King George street be SURE to explore nearby shops, especially The Book Gallery and the record store next door. ...

The Coffee Nadi dairy restaurant at Shmuel Hanagid 5 is located on steep-slanted, no-traffic Shatz Street. It is sparkling clean. Their food is of average quality and if you sit at one of the outside tables be careful of your drinks. The tables are tilted at the same slant as the hillside and they are a bit wobbly. The staff were pleasant but service was slow and it was difficult to get their attention. The wobbly table distracted from the meal and the street traffic within four meters of the tables was not appealing.

Slow service but a nice (though expensive) breakfast

It really shouldn't take an hour for breakfast to arrive--but here, it can. We weren't in a rush, but we also weren't really banking on sinking that much time into a gussied-up kibbutz breakfast spread. The menu ranges from the cheap to the less so, and sadly the breakfast spread is up there in price. It leaned heavily on things like tapenade and schug rather than freshly made salatim, which was disappointing; the portions were odd, with far too much cheese for two people, very little fish, and only one mini loaf of bread which, oddly enough, was a sweet raising loaf rather than something plain or seeded to compliment the savoury offerings. The little goat yoghurt and granola pots were a nice finish. Coffee was good, and they do a really tasty sachlab. While we were there, the tables were all at really sharp angles on the sloping pavement, which made for awkward eating, but we were told they're moving premises in November 2019, which will render that comment redundant. :)
