Inspired by the need for a healthy alternative, Natural Choice Cafe has become a staple of healthy living and vegetarian/vegan in the Mahane Yehuda neighborhood thanks to its health-conscious menu and fresh, natural ingredients. Most of the dishes are either raw or baked for maximum nutritional value, made and infused with flavor using the best nutritional cooking techniques.
The Menu
Serving a variety of sandwiches, pastries and other baked goods made fresh on the premises, along with shakes, smoothies, fresh-squeezed juices, soups (seasonal), salads and more, all of the products at Natural Choice are free of any processed oils, sugars or salts, and most are also gluten-free.
Natural Choice Cafe focuses on takeaway vegetarian and vegan cuisine. It’s always a good idea to ask about the daily special, but don’t shy away from daily selections like antipasti, sabih, vegetable and cheese sandwiches, a variety of salads and other dishes with qunoa, rice, leafy greens, vegetables, tofu and other healthy ingredients.
The menu changes with the season, so in the winter you can go with a hot soup, sahlab and in the summer a refreshing apple slurpee.
Natural Bakery
Located right next door to the Natural Choice Cafe, the Natural Bakery sells a massive selection of nutritional pastries, breads and other baked goods all made with only natural, unprocessed ingredients (no white flour, preservatives or processed ingredients), like spelt, whole wheat, brown sugar and natural apple sweetener.
You can also get items without gluten and with or without yeast, as well as nutritional supplements that will help your body reach the proper equilibrium.
