  Downtown Jerusalem is the heart of the modern metropolis, with nightlife, dining and culture to rival any major city.   Old City
  The Old City of Jerusalem has been a center of culture, religion and history for thousands of years, from the time of the Judean kings and the Roman era through the times of the Islamic Empire to the modern State of Israel. Every brick and stone is teeming with history. No trip to the Middle East is complete without wandering through alleys of the bazaar, walking the ramparts and exploring the Old City’s rich history at the Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Temple Mount (Al-Aqsa) or Tower of David Museum.
  
  NEAR OLD CITY

“Lovely place for great pasta”

We had a delicious meal at Pasta Basta. I had the spaghetti with a spicy tomato sauce with added mushrooms. Would have been even better had we been offered cheese. It is right inside the Mehane Yehuda market, and it's a great place for a quick supper.

Nice Self service pasta place - you can select the pasta type, the souse and some extras. The price is changed according to your selection. Although the dishes are tasty and fresh, they are not to large and hence overprices...

This place is FRESH, QUICK, DELICIOUS and INEXPENSIVE. The only problem with it is that pasta is fattening!
