Due to Covid 19 this restaurabt was closed until just before Pesach. We were eager to go, but we wanted to wait till they were back to their regular menu. We're glad we did. As always this rooftop restaurant provides one of the most spectacular views of downtown Jerusalem available. The Old City, the King David, and the YMCA tower were all spread out before us. We were quickly shown to our table and provided with a menu, English or Hebrew available. We started with a delicious garden salad. I went straight for the entrecote steak, which proved to be so juicy and boneless it could have been mistaken for filet mignon. My wife had a delicious roast duck. We accompanied the meal with a glass each of a Yarden cabernet sauvignon. And finally a scrumptious pecan pie for dessert. Service was excellent and we had a highly enjoyable and relaxed meal. The total came to ₪500 for the two of us with drinks. Rarely have we enjoyed a meal more. At present a tav yarok is required to gain entrance for indoor eating, and this is checked on entering the Mamilla hotel before the elevator ride to the roof. A great way to celebrate reentering the world of fine dining.
