We went here this past summer. We were super excited but a little disappointed in the end. One dish took over an hour and they gave it to us on the house. And the rest of the food was alright. it wasn't bad but it wasn't the best food ever.

Asia Meets Israel
Located in the lively First Station compound, Station 9 is Jerusalem’s premiere Asian fusion restaurant, taking the cuisines of China, Vietnam, Thailand and Japan and combining them with the flavors of the Israeli kitchen to create a truly delectable culinary experience.
The restaurant features a modern design with an open kitchen producing tantalizing aromas intertwined with touches of Asian influence, such as the bold color scheme, the ceiling mural, raw ingredients on the tables and conical hat decorations. Meanwhile, in the outdoor seating area, you can bask in the lively Israeli atmosphere of the First Station.
The menu is a proverbial gauntlet of enticing dishes that combine the various Asian and Israeli flavors to perfection.
Check out some of Station 9’s signature dishes:
- Bau Bau — a fresh steamed bun with chipotle aioli, cilantro and chili with your choice of peking duck, fish, ground beef patty or spare ribs
- Ramen with your choice of beef, chicken or duck
- Green curry stir-fried noodles with vegetables and coconut milk
- Spare ribs in a Japanese bbq sauce
- Papaya salad
- And so much more… (Don’t forget to ask about dessert!)
Events at Station 9
Station 9 can accommodate many different types of private events and offers an ideal backdrop for events with an Asian motif.
And every Thursday, the restaurant takes on an extra-lively and youthful atmosphere with a DJ spinning lounge beats and cocktails flowing like water.

MoreWe arrived just before 5pm for an early dinner with the familynIgnored by the staff, we had to get up frequently to look for a waitress and to fetch ourselves fresh pitchers of water.nWe ordered within 10 mins of arriving, but had to wait ages for all the dishes to arrive, which they did, over the course of 45 minutes, in dribs and drabs.nTwo dishes we ordered didn't arrive until 60 minutes and 1:15 hours later respectively!!!nGuests who arrived after us were served before us.nThey offered a free dessert as compensation for bringing the last dish 1:15 hours late OR offered to not charge for that dish - totally insufficient compensation for the inconvenience caused to the whole family. nWe had 4 different waitresses; all but one clueless teenagers.nThe staff on the whole were apathetic and at times insolent.nAside from a few insincere rote apologies, we got the feeling that no one really cared if we had a good experience.nFor the first time in many years, I did not leave a tip when we finished our very mediocre and overpriced meal.nWe will not be returning.nStation 9 used to be a great restaurant but standards have been slipping over time.nThe same goes for another restaurant in the group, Focaccia Bar, on Emek Refaim, which has similarly fallen from grace in recent years.
