The restaurant is a bit tucked away in the innards of Jerusalem however after climbing the stairs you eventually get there. We both had the Shakshuka with different breads and really liked it. They were well executed and portioned with friendly service.
Tmol Shilshom
- Price $$$$
Bookstore, coffee house and restaurant, Tmol Shilshom has been an integral part of the Jerusalem landscape for the past 15 years. At least twice a week, the hosts sessions with top Israeli writers, who read and chat about their stories and poems.
What makes it unique is the blend of people who regard it as their favorite spot from the gay community to religious Jews, locals and tourists. A new menu was recently launched by chefs Mazzen Shweicky and Yaron Winkler offering a combination of French and oriental dishes.
The most recommended meals include the salmon filet, the eggplant, cheese and spinach lasagna and the homemade creme brule.
