If you need a break from all the savory meats and hummus that characterize Abu Gosh cuisine, indulge in the other passion of Mediterranean cuisine -- super sweet desserts.
At Sultan Sweets, the desserts will certainly be sweet to the average Westerners taste buds, but rest assured this is tame and measured compared to average fare. The knafe is superb and made so that the sweet, sugary taste is present, but you can still taste the fresh, local goat cheese. The baklava also allows tones down the sweetness to let you appreciate the ingredients.
It's a little bit tough to find, but just keep an eye out on the right side coming into Abu Gosh on Kvish Ha-Shalom Street.

A simple, homey place, with the best Arab desserts. Everything is home made, fresh, super tasty, with good atmosphere and service. I tried all places in Abu Gosh and it's hands down the best.

Sami is such a nice guy and the knafeh is delicious! We also got baklawa and halva. They make everything in-house including the coffee. Highly recommended!
