Crafting a Better World
Megemeria- meaning “Genesis” in Amharic- symbolizes a new beginning. Founded in 2010 by Orna and Isaac Levy of Yvel Jewelry, the Megemeria School of Art & Design empowers new immigrants, especially from the Ethiopian-Israeli community, through professional jewelry training, creative expression, and personal growth.

At Megemeria, students gain high-level craftsmanship skills alongside guidance, confidence-building, and a strong sense of belonging. It is a place where talent meets creativity, and creativity meets soul.
The vision behind the project is rooted in the belief that immigrant absorption is not a challenge to overcome, but a rare opportunity to build bridges between cultures, communities, and people.Where Craftsmanship, Art, and Israeli Spirit Meet
Set along a winding road to Jerusalem, among the green hills of Motza, you’ll find Yvel’s flagship boutique — a world of handcrafted luxury jewelry. Here, rare pearls, natural gemstones, and contemporary design come together in an elegant and inspiring space.
The flagship boutique offers an intimate and refined shopping experience, showcasing Yvel’s most iconic collections, from high jewelry and wearable art to meaningful pieces crafted with exceptional precision and artistry.
Located within the Yvel Design Center, visitors may also book a guided behind-the-scenes tour, offering a rare glimpse into the factory, workshops, and the full journey from raw material to finished masterpiece. Guests are welcomed to explore the creative process, connect with the spirit of Israeli craftsmanship, and experience how luxury, values, and social impact come together in one inspiring place. The tour reveals the passion, skill, and dedication behind every creation.

Today, Yvel employs over 100 people from more than 20 countries, forming a vibrant human mosaic where new immigrants and native-born Israelis work side by side. This unique environment nurtures creativity, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose.
Alongside the production center stands the social heart of Yvel — Megemeria, a philanthropic school of art and jewelry-making founded by Orna and Isaac Levy in 2010. Dedicated to empowering new immigrants, particularly from the Ethiopian-Israeli community, Megemeria reflects Yvel’s belief that craftsmanship can change lives and build bridges between cultures.
This is where art and nature meet, through innovation, master craftsmanship, and award-winning excellence. From the Design Center in Jerusalem to boutiques around the world, Yvel tells a story of passion, dedication, and timeless elegance.
Here, where beauty and artistry meet, every moment becomes unforgettable.
