Sagi Haim LevyLicensed
ABOUT MYSELF
My name is Sagi Haim Levy. My middle name is the Hebrew word for life, it reflects who I am and what I love. I am living with my incredible wife and daughter in the Mounts of Jerusalem.
Born and raised in Israel, as a child, Influenced by nature and its powers, I’ve traveled every corner of this country and have turned every stone of this land. During trips around the world I exposed myself to new landscapes, cultures and ideas. More than anything I realized that I want to learn more about my own country, culture, religion and where It came from and pass on this knowledge. Today I am an official tour guide and educator in Israel and overseas.
I graduated from the University of Haifa with a B. A. degree in Land of Israel Studies and Geography. In addition i graduated from the Academy of Tourism and received my tour guide license from that institution. I have 9 years of practical experience as a tour guide in Israel.
I have experience guiding Jewish Reform and Conservative Temple groups, Birthright, Christian and Interfaith, multi generational families, young adults and adults. Questions and dialogue are central to your journey through Israel.
I like to use original music and texts as tools to grasp the emotions, opinions and expressions of people, in order to inspire and connect, understand and empathize with our ancestors and predecessors – to connect the past to the present.

MoreOur family had a 2 day memorable and amazing experience touring Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem because my son-in-law found Sagi, our excellent tour guide. He has a warm personality, patient, very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. The trip was a dream come true especially for my husband who is very religious and Sagi was able to quench his thirst for religion in places where everything happened because Sagi has a very interesting and engaging way of communicating history and he even read passages from the Bible which really made things more exciting . We have been with several tour guides before and definitely Sagi is one of the best, if not the best. I highly recommend him if you want to experience a great and memorable tour in Israel.

He knows a lot of information and was able to give us the knowledge that we needed about the places we wanted to visit . He really made sure that everybody got what they wanted from their trip. His driving skills is also amazing. Even after the tour program, he still helped us a lot and provided us with information to make the next parts of our trip convenient. I definitely recommend him if you want someone capable of making your Israel trip a memorable one.

MoreMy husband booked a 2-day tour from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and he was our guide and driver. I’ve had many tour guides in many places and it’s safe to say Sagi has been one of the best tour guides I’ve had. Like most tour guides he is knowledgeable but the way he conveys it and adlib and joke about it is really fun and makes you retain information. He’s well educated and even debated with my nerdy friends who are super into history and politics. Sagi also has a lot of patience. My husband and I like to take pictures, so he would wait for us before relaying information. Sagi also drove very well for long long hours and talked while driving. I would say please go with Sagi and you won’t be disappointed and will definitely have a great time!
