- The tour requires walking through a dry, underground tunnel
- To reach the City of David by foot, exit through the Dung Gate (at the Old City Wall, near the Western Wall), turn left, and after about 50 meters – turn right.
- Lockers are available to rent for storing personal belongings. Strollers cannot be stored on site.
- The tour concludes at the Davidson Center Archaeological Garden
