An Unforgettable Bar/Bat Mitzvah Tour to Israel

An Unforgettable Bar/Bat Mitzvah Tour to Israel

When your child looks back on their Bar/Bat Mitzvah what do you want them to remember? An obligatory milestone that happened when they became a teenager, or a deeply moving experience that inspired them? If you answer is the latter - then you NEED to and find out about their unforgettable experience called “The Soldier At The Wall”. Watch the video above to discover what the experience is all about, and contact us.

Itinerary Sample

We have literally toured thousands of people all across Israel! Every trip is different, because we believe you deserve to be in control of what you see and do.

While that’s true, most people still ask us for suggestions. So I asked my Travel Consultants to put together a DREAM Sample Itinerary, a highlight reel of how to experience Israel.

Here is a Sample Itinerary to help you imagine what your tour could be like:

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport where a luxury vehicle will bring you to your hotel. The rest of the day is leisure time.

Day 2: Tel Aviv & Jaffa

Visit Old Jaffa’s famous flea market, and historic port.  Then it’s onto Independence Hall, the Tel Aviv Innovation Center to learn why Israel is called “The Startup Nation”.  Slow down in Shuk haCarmel’s open-air market and end the day at the Ayalon Institute learning how the Israeli Defense Forces started.

Day 3: The Coast of Israel

Experience Caesarea, a 2,000 year-old Roman city.  Ascend Mt. Carmel for a breathtaking view of Haifa Bay and the stunning Bahai Gardens.  Finish the day in The Old City of Acre and rappel down the beautifully colored cliffs.

Day 4: Golan Heights Tour

Enjoy breakfast overlooking The Sea of Galilee, followed by a tour of Golan Heights.  Gain a better understanding of Syria’s geopolitical situation while off roading in a Jeep.  The kids will head to the De Karina Chocolate Factory while you enjoy a wine-tasting in a local winery.

Day 5: Hot Air Balloon & Jerusalem!

Picnic breakfast in Jeezael Valley before soaring in a Hot Air Balloon Ride!  Visit the Mystical City of Tzfat, one of the Four Holy Cities before a drive to Jerusalem with a drink reception at the Mt. of Olives.

Day 6: The Game

A “Secret Agent” gives you a dossier detailing your secret mission.  Over the next 2 hours, you’ll follow a map through Jerusalem as perfectly camouflaged actors walk the streets beside you trying to either aid or thwart your success.  You must work together, solve riddles, and think outside the box to accomplish this FUN, MYSTERIOUS, and VERY AMUSING game.

After lunch, you will be deeply moved visiting the World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Vad Vashem.  You’ll discover why the Israeli Defense Force is called the “most moral army” in the world, as you train with IDF Special Forces in an actual shooting adventure!

End the day with the Herzl Vision Experience; an interactive tour of Herzl’s Dream teaching you about the history of Zionism.

Day 7: Camel Ride & Dead Sea

A short camel ride in the Judean Desert will prepare you to relax with Abraham and his family in their tent for some traditional Hebrew Hospitality.  A scenic drive surrounded by the Dead Sea and the Judean Mountains will bring you to the Oasis in the Desert (a place mentioned by David several times in the Book of Psalms).

Then off to Masada to learn why this ancient hilltop fortress is such an important symbol for Israel today.  Then it’s time to swim on the shore of the Dead Sea, rejuvenated by the mineral rich waters, and/or a private spa treatment.

Day 8: Bar Mitzvah Day

Get professional family photos at the Western Wall - the most religious site in the world for the Jewish people.  Celebrate your child’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah at the Robinson Arch, followed by a special presentation of The Soldier at The Wall.

The Bar/Bat Mitzvah Lunch is followed by downtime or a scavenger hunt finding ancient artifacts and sites throughout Jerusalem.  It’s not only fun, but walks you through the incredible story of the Jewish people through the ages.

Day 9: Leisure

Some quiet, unstructured time for you to relax with your family while reflect on your tour.

Day 10: Return Home

Depart for the Ben Gurion Airport for the flight home.  You’ll be closer than ever to your family, because of the memories that you created and experienced together.
