In Emek Tzurim National Park, there is a special project in which anyone can become an archaeologist for a day and try to uncover ancient finds by sifting through the dirt that originated in historic buildings in ancient Jerusalem! Dozens of artifacts have already been discovered in the Tzurim Valley, including an Egyptian Pharaonic-era talisman, jewelry, and rare coins. Many exciting treasures are still waiting to be discovered!
