Celebrate the bounty of wine in Israel Museum
The wine festival will take place for the 16th time and open up on Monday, July 8th and will last four exhilarating evenings of festivities.
This event is a result of long-lasting cooperation with the museum. It offers tastings of hundreds of wines with side dishes of cheese, chocolates, jams, olive oils, sauces, and other delicacies.
Additionally, two musical performances will also take place.
This event is notable as the most prominent wine festivity in the country.
The event is visited by 20,000 guests from all around Israel an beyond. The audience of the Wine festival are those who appreciate high class and quality leisure and beverages, and they can be found in every social status, offering a multi-dimensional expression of Israel’s human landscape, all of whom enjoy a glass of wine occasionally.
The impressive scenery of the festival contributes to its luxurious vibe – mingling among the magnificent sculptures and in the refreshing garden under the warm July sun. Twelve of the best wineries will distribute their products among the pilgrims who come to enjoy a good time and great company.
For a price of 98 ILS, you’ll get a glass of wine upon entering and the freedom to walk around the compound on the upper level of the building, next to the known work “Turning the World Upside Down, Jerusalem,” crafted by Anish Kapoor, the famous Jewish Indian-British sculptor.
Please note, the side dishes are purchased additionally to the ticket.
Tickets are sold on the Israel Museum’s website and at the cashiers (the first option is preferable for everyone!)
