The selected running routes tell the story of Jerusalem throughout its 3,000 years of history.
The marathon includes several competitive and popular race routes:
- Half Marathon 21.1 km – Assembly at 05:50 | Start at 06:15
- Full Marathon 42.2 km – Assembly at 06:15 | Start at 06:30
- 5 km Race, Wave 1 – Assembly at 06:45 | Start at 07:00
- 5 km Race, Wave 2 – Assembly at 07:00 | Start at 07:15
- Community Run – Assembly at 07:45 | Start at 08:00
- 10 km Race, Wave 1 – Assembly at 08:45 | Start at 09:00
- 10 km Race, Wave 2 – Assembly at 09:00 | Start at 09:15
- 10 km Race, Wave 3 – Assembly at 09:15 | Start at 09:30
- Family Run – Assembly at 10:45 | Start at 11:00
All races start from the junction between the Knesset and the Israel Museum on Rupin Boulevard.
The city of Jerusalem enjoys weather conditions and humidity levels that provide an ideal setting for challenging and experiential sporting events such as the marathon. The marathon date is selected to allow runners to enjoy comfortable weather and low humidity.
Pre-Marathon Events 2026
As tradition dictates, marathon participants will be able to take part in the Expo, where leading sports brands will be sold at special prices for event participants.
The number of places is limited.
The Expo will take place from March 24–26, between 15:00 and 21:00.

Gathering Area Festival
On race day, everything begins and ends at Sacher Park, which will be filled with a festive atmosphere. Runners and supporters are invited to get moving with top fitness instructors from across the country through warm-up exercises, Zumba, aerobics, and more, enjoy live drumming performances, and take advantage of a wide range of discounts on leading sports brands.
