Hakaseta (The Cassette) is a bar in downtown Jerusalem owned by the same guys from the Hataklit and now defunct Stardust. Known as Hataklit’s little sister, Hakaseta is decorated with cassettes in the walls. The bar has about 20 seats inside and out and plays mostly indie and new-age music along with tunes from the ’60s to the ’80s. The beer menu is huge and there is even a video arcade game to round off the retro feel of your night out.

The Hakatze (The Edge) bar features weekly live music performances, comedy nights and periodic art exhibitions and parties. Situated in downtown Jerusalem on edgy Shoshan Street, the Hakatze bar is a good place to experience alternative youth culture in Jerusalem.

Hamakom (The Place) is a popular dance club in downtown Jerusalem that attracts a diverse crowd of revelers throughout the week. It also hosts private parties of up to 180 people and can also provide a variety of other event services.

Mazkeka is one of the premiere venues in the city for alternative music, hosting live bands and DJ's playing various genres -- rock, blues, jazz, Balkan, techno, hip-hop and more -- on a nightly basis. The music club has a prime location on the lively Shushan Street (aka hipster central), and while the space is pretty cozy, the atmosphere is always electric.
Mazkeka Venue is Home for the Independent &amp; Alternative Art Scene of Jerusalem, functioning as a Live Stage, a Cafe and a Recording Studio.
Mazkeka hosts live shows by local artists every-night, as well as parties on weekends.

Monaco is one of the premiere clubs in downtown Jerusalem, attracting a diverse, but mostly young crowd of party-goers throughout the week, but especially on weekends, when you might have to wait in line.
