The show tells the story of Jerusalem and the shared life in it and Israel through 3 different shows:<ul><li>A story of light&nbsp;</li><li>A story of peace</li><li>The story of an eternal prayer for harmony</li></ul>The show includes the use of many lasers throughout the city through a unique control system designed by strict ecological requirements that creates a spectacular effect without air pollution and environmental damage.The original music was composed so that it sensitively tells the story of Jerusalem and our history; motifs from different cultures and religions can be heard in it alongside songs that are an important asset to the Jewish people. The unique synergy between West and East, ancient and new, creates a rooted and contemporary show marked by world music from the statement that there is a place for everyone in the Jerusalem of the future, peace prevails in it, and prayer is always heard.

Beit Avi Hai invites you to a series of fascinating cultural events that will take place this month.

Set against the backdrop of Jerusalem’s magnificent views and streets filled with history, the Jerusalem Marathon is truly one of the most unique marathons in the world. The Jerusalem Marathon is held annually in March. The first complete Jerusalem Marathon was held in 2011. This year the marathon will be held Friday, April 4, 2025. The Jerusalem marathon takes place at the beginning of the spring season Jerusalem, bringing with it ideal conditions for outdoor sports. One of the stations will allow runners to engrave their personal achievements on custom-made medals.&nbsp;At Sacher Park Jerusalem Marathon welcomes everyone to a sports fair and festival. Runners and spectators will enjoy stretching exercises, aerobics, Zumba, and more, with Israel's best fitness instructors. The International Jerusalem Winner Marathon is one of the most exciting annual events in Jerusalem, drawing thousands of locals and tourists who come to watch amateur and professional runners alike from all over the world.

Amidst the archaeological remains in the Citadel's courtyard and to the sound of original music, virtual reality images tell the stories of&nbsp;King David, the Roman conquest, Muhammad, the Crusaders, and Suleiman the Magnificent, among other people and periods.The Night Spectacular, a 45-minute show, uses trompe l'oeil technology---the stones of the walls and structures fade into the scenes and the screened images envelop the viewers, whisking them off to a one-of-a-kind multi-sensory experience.Innovative techniques and a sophisticated computer system operate&nbsp;20 projectors, 10 video players, 14 computers and 14 loudspeakers.The Night Spectacular is the first of its kind and is for everyone---tourists, families, speakers of all languages and for all who love Jerusalem.<h3 style="text-align:justify;">&nbsp;</h3>

Curator: Amichai Chasson | Assistant Curator: Rika Grinfeld BarneaBeit Avi Chai presents the exhibition “You Must Choose Life – That is Art,” which includes dozens of selected works from the estate of the Israel Prize for Painting-winning artist Pinchas Litvinovsky, one of the founding fathers of Israeli art and a prolific Jerusalem painter, whose works are seeing the light of day for the first time in 30 years. The extensive exhibition spread over the three floors of Beit Avi Chai showcases the varied styles Litvinovsky worked with – from enchanted orientalism through Jewish themes and portraits of elected officials to abstract and diverse color works.Litvinovsky was not part of any artistic group; he rarely exhibited his works and never dated or named them. Apart from portraiture, he usually avoided selling his pieces. After his death, the painter’s estate numbered over 6,000 works, held in his studio in Jerusalem. However, the estate encountered various hardships over the years, culminating in a terrible destruction by the painter’s grandson, which reduced the thousands of works to only a few hundred. The exhibition “You Must Choose Life – That is Art” highlights the best of the remaining pieces, showcasing various playful, sensual, and spiritual artistic facets of Pinchas Litvinovsky’s legacy.The exhibition will feature an interactive stand, “Make yourself a Litvinovsky AI portrait,” where visitors can create their own Litvinovsky-style portrait using AI (Design: Alon Chitayat, software development: Avinoam Cooper).
