On-site, you’ll take walks around the battle canals, bunkers, armored vehicles from 1948, half-track tank, and an audio-visual presentation that will tell you the moving stories of victory that took place here. It is the setting of the hardest battle the Israeli army led with the Jordanians, but that’s not the reason this spot attracts so many visitors. The veterans are still present in the canals, sharing their fascinating stories about Jerusalem. You’ll get the chance to touch these stones, feel their roughness, hide in the narrow bunkers and look on the view that opens from the slits. Another essential item in the area is a small cardboard sign, on which the warriors expressed in writing the respect they have for their enemy, which teaches us a lot about human dignity.&nbsp;A new multimedia museum was established in the area three years ago. There you can walk in the caves and hear the excited voices announcing “The Temple Mount ours!” to see the flag that was hoisted over the Western Wall at the end of the battle, hear the original announcements of the IDF’s Spokesman and more. The tour in the Heritage Center includes an audio-visual presentation telling the story of veterans telling their personal war stories to their grandchildren. Next, you’ll proceed to the battle canals on the Ammunition Hill and finish the tour with a moving journey in the museum and animated films about the warriors and the city that used to be, and the excitement of putting on the Israeli flag over the Western Wall.<h2>Private events at the Ammunition Hill Center</h2>Are you having a Bar/Bat Mitzvah or any other event soon? Ammunition Hill is a perfectly preserved battle site from the 1967 Six-Day War that also serves as a memorial to all the fallen soldiers of its battles.
The site is a legacy center to commemorate the Six-Day War. It tells the story of the warriors in Jerusalem during that historical time. On-site: original battle canals, a new museum, and an audio-video representation, as well as a spacious garden where you can sit and dine.

The tour relives the story of the battle over Jerusalem. A tale of a new country preparing to fight, a story of a divided city, its leaders, army, and residents, but first and foremost – it tells the history of devoted and brave warriors. They found themselves at the heat of the storm, making history for the Jewish people and State.

During the tour, you’ll see an original Sherman tank that was used by the Jerusalem Brigade, a jeep with a recoilless rifle of the Mount Scopus defenders, and the half-track used by the Mordechai Gur, Division Commander of the Paratroopers.

The highest hang flag in the country (476 ft.) can be observed on-site, as well as monuments to honor the memory of 36 paratroopers who lost their lives in the Battle of Ammunition Hill (the 6th Battalion monument) and of the 182 soldiers who fought a died during the liberation of Jerusalem (the Golden Wall).

Additionally, we’ll get familiar with the unique project “The Soldier Wall,” which provides a touching closure for the families of thousands of Jewish fighters from the diaspora, especially from the US.

This tour is custom-tailored for every group. Hence it’s recommended for children and youth, as well as for adults and multi-generational gatherings.

 	<li>“Warriors and Values” - the tour opens with a unique audio-visual presentation, combined with the model of Jerusalem. During the presentation, we’ll watch a moving film in which the veterans tell their grandchildren about the battles they participated in while liberating Jerusalem.
Next, we’ll go outside and walk toward the original battle canals of the Ammunition Hill and hear stories of courage, responsibility, and solidarity.
A guided tour of about an hour, suitable for all ages.</li>
 	<li>“Six-Day War Museum” - opens in the uneasy atmosphere that prevailed in Jerusalem before the war and to the exciting proclamation “The Temple Mount ours.” The museum shows the course of the battles through personal acquaintance with soldiers and commanders through unique animation, films, and archive footage.
