Experience one of the Jerusalem tours that seamlessly blends ancient history with profound spiritual significance. This full-day journey offers an unparalleled exploration of one of the world's most revered cities, where every stone tells a story spanning thousands of years.
Your tour begins with a breathtaking ascent to the Mount of Olives, where panoramic vistas reveal the entire Old City spread before you like a living tapestry. This elevated vantage point provides the perfect introduction to understanding the city's complex layout and historical significance, setting the stage for your immersive cultural exploration.
Descending into the heart of the Jerusalem Old City, you'll traverse the ancient Byzantine Cardo, once the main thoroughfare of Byzantine Jerusalem. The weathered stones beneath your feet have witnessed countless pilgrims, merchants, and travelers throughout the centuries. Your guided exploration continues to the Western Wall, Judaism's holiest prayer site, where the weight of history and faith converge in a deeply moving experience.
Following the sacred Via Dolorosa, you'll trace the path of Christ's final journey, pausing at each of the traditional Stations of the Cross. This spiritual pilgrimage culminates at the magnificent Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Christianity's most sacred site, where tradition holds that Jesus was crucified, buried, and resurrected.
The Jerusalem tours experience extends beyond the Old City walls with a poignant visit to Yad Vashem, the world's most comprehensive Holocaust memorial and museum. This powerful institution honors the memory of six million Jewish victims, aiming to educate visitors about this dark chapter in human history.

What to expect
As we stand above the Jewish cemetery on Mount of Olives, we see the Jerusalem Old City and the Temple Mount where Solomon's Temple, destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BCE, and the Second Temple, destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE, once stood.
Below us lie the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations in the Kidron Valley with its ancient Jewish burial tombs. Entering the Old City through the Zion Gate, we pass the Armenian Quarter on our way to the Jewish Quarter and the 1,500-year-old Byzantine Cardo, partially destroyed and unused during the Muslim conquest.
We stop at the Kotel, the Western Wall, where Jews have prayed since the destruction of the Temple in 70 CE. Built by King Herod, it was a supporting wall enclosing the enlarged Temple Mount area. The Via Dolorosa, also known as the Way of the Cross, is the route many pilgrims follow on their way to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. The church was built over the place believed to be the location of the crucifixion of Jesus and the burial tomb.
We exit the Old City via the market and the Jaffa Gate for a short tour of the new city. A visit to Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, reveals personal stories, artifacts, and photographs documenting the discrimination, persecution, and finally the annihilation of the Jewish communities of Europe.
