We visited Kinor Bakikar, after our tour of the Hebrew Music Museum right around the corner. This was a perfect choice among a number of restaurants in the area. We took advantage of the business lunch--main course, beverage, and dessert or appetizer all for NIS 110. A few of the main courses required an additional fee, like the entrecote which I ordered. It was a huge serving, cooked to perfection, with delicious crispy fries. I had started with the pate for an appetizer, and it was rich and delicious. My husband started with the outstanding duck breast salad, followed by the chicken steak and fries--again a huge portion--yummy and cooked perfectly. The service was quite good, and we appreciated the cleanliness and the linen tablecloth. We will most definitely be back.

Got there by chance... walking in beautiful Jerusalem heard music and saw light through an alley and found this cozy plaza, the Music Plaza, Kikar HaMusica in Hebrew... there are 4 different Restaurants, we sat in the Kinor Bakikar restaurant, (the violin at the plaza) and had the most splendid meal in days... Steak Dinner is a must in Jerusalem but to have it in an open Plaza, listening to music with a beautiful ambiance and view and of course great food... we ordered a lot, 10 people who had different dishes to try everything and everyone left totally satisfied after a great night with great food and wine, if you come to Jerusalem come to Kinor Bakikar!

Golden Jerusalem evening
TripAdvisor RatingReviewed on May 23, 2017

A really magical Jerusalem evening in the courtyard location of the gourmet restaurant. It was accompanied by the sounds of the expert pianist. We couldn't have wished for a better 'Jerusalem' experience for our visiting family and for ourselves. The food, the location, the ambience---- just perfect!

Firstly, the location is magical. The live Jazz enhances the evening exponentially. The service was first-rate and the design is elegant and tasteful. We were thrilled with each course and we left the place just amazed at how much fun we had.
