The service was very good..They didn't manage to bring the main courses at the same time, but when I tasted mine I forgave them instantly. For starters we had bread with dips and salad..I finished nearly the entire bowl of salad as the dressing was so delicious! The main course my husband had veal with sweetbreads, not my taste, but he loved it although he would have liked a bigger portion. My entrecote was really good, crunchy potatoes and salad, also very good indeed. They gave us a complimentary liqueur which was arak with something I can't remember. And the desserts..wow! One was techina ice cream with something fruity, divine! And mine had to be hot chocolate cake, my gold standard..it was everything you've ever wanted in chocolate on one plate! No complaints!

We happened across this restaurant on our first day in Jerusalem and after a long day of travel and taking in a stroll of the city. Most of the restaurants in the area were booked solid on this Saturday night. We were able to get four places at the end of the bar. We were attended to by the warm and amicable owner. We ordered drinks, which were very good, though the beer was the wrong kind-right brand, wrong brew. We ordered appetizers for two and four meals. The food came out all at the same time, which was awkward in the small eating area. One of the burgers ordered had to be sent back as it was not cooked to order; but this was not an issue and they recooked it quickly. The food was very good and the Entrecoute was a lovely medium rare with a delicious salad. The music was not over bearing and we were able to have easy conversation. The toilets are unisex and we'll appointed, in fact, the whole bar and restaurant area has a nice atmosphere. Once they sort out all of their timing issues, it will be an excellent place to have a nice upscale meal in Jerusalem.

This was our first meal in Jerusalem. Arriving on a Saturday all the restaurants were full. Being a new place we were lucky to get a table for four at the end of the very stylish bar. It looks great a really nice atmosphere, perhaps a bit noisy for us oldies as the evening went on. The manager greeted us with a complimentary drink whilst choosing from the menu. Not a massive choice but we all managed to find something. The carpaccio starter and goose liver were very tasty as were the veal sweetbread, steak and burgers. The only hiccup was the starters and mains all came out at the same time and having to send my entrecot steak burger back as it was very rare when I asked for it well done meant everybody had finished by the time my meal arrived but it was cooked fresh again even the delicious potato wedges which was good to see. We did also get a different beer to the one requested but they were fine. Not the cheapest but Jerusalem is expensive and we were offered complimentary desserts which we reluctantly declined as we were all full. So with a bit more attention to order taking (maybe writing it down!) I'm sure this will be a success.
